MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich., Oct. 6, 2017 --- GreenTree Cooperative announces its 10th annual craft beer tasting event set for Saturday, Oct. 21, from 2-5 p.m. in the courtyard in front of the grocery store at 214 N. Franklin St.

Beer choices will feature popular Michigan brews, in addition to other favorites from neighboring Midwest breweries.

Founders, New Holland, Blackrocks, Grand Armory and Bell’s breweries are among some of the Michigan breweries participating in the event. Select Midwest breweries Great Lakes, Lakefront, New Glarus, Goose Island and more will also partake.

This year, GreenTree presents a drawing with the opportunity for beer enthusiasts to win a free 12 pack of the craft beer of their choice. During the event, every customer who purchases a six pack or more of the featured craft beers will automatically be entered in the drawing to win.

Each year, the event’s turnout grows, and GreenTree wanted to incorporate a way to thank its past, present and future customers.

Kegs containing popular Michigan beers Oberon and Two Hearted, both Bell’s brewery products, and Dragon’s Milk, a New Holland favorite, will be available during the event. Attendees can purchase a cup for $15 good for three refills or buy individual beers, priced at $6 each.
